I began my insurance career in 1991 in our family financial planning firm. I was licensed in Life& Health and assisted agency principles writing corporate and personal pension plans. I consider my background to be very diverse when it comes to insurance. I am excited to share my more “comprehensive” viewpoint with regards to an otherwise “cookie-cutter” industry. I am most excited when the customer says to me, “Wow, I never thought of it that way!”
Having grown up outside of the Cleveland, Ohio area Chris and I bought our first house in Ohio City, downtown in 1988. Since then, we began migrating West and finally settled on the Marblehead peninsula in 1992. While we love going back to visit, this is without a doubt our cherished home. Anyone who knows me knows that my family is my life. It is simply what we do–whether yours or ours, keeping families safe has always been our number one priority. I am sure I am no different than most moms when I tell you…”Our kids are rock stars.”
When its time to unwind I love to spend my weekends on the water. Whether on a boat or an island, I find it is the best way to recharge. Speaking of which, it’s important that we culture an attitude of giving. Whatever we can do to help people…people who are less fortunate or people who have simply hit a rough spot… that is our responsibility. We are all in this together and when it comes right down to it, people need people!

I am originally from Cleveland but have lived in Marblehead since ’96. I have been in the insurance industry for the past eight years with experience as a key man operations planner. As trusted advisors, we get to teach our customers the real need for the different types of insurance products and how they can provide proper coverage for the things they care the most about. What I enjoy the most about my career is the love for people; we are a people company and we truly relish to know our customers are making the best out of the insurance products they acquire.
Living so close to the water made it natural for me to work in high-end boating sales for 15 years. Since then, I have been a long-time water lover engaging in boating and other water-related activities to the most of my capabilities. On the other side of me, I grew up playing and coaching at different levels of rugby. It’s truly great to see how it has come along from a high school and a professional platform. I wear my emotions on my sleeve; good or bad I tell it how it is.
I joined the Botson team in early 2018. I came here after having owned a fire and water disaster restoration company for 17 years. Prior to that,I had a career in hospital administration as well as a full-time firefighter-paramedic. I am a Toledo native, received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo and my Master’s degree from Arizona State University. I have 4 children and 4 grandchildren, reside in Sylvania, OH and enjoy golf, hockey, cooking and dining out.
